On any Talkswitch box running 4.10 and having a ethernet port, you can now license an additional 8 IP extensions. So, a 48-CA or 480VS for example can have 8 analog or IP extensions just like before, PLUS, an additional 8 IP extensions for a total of 16 extensions on one box. Cost for the license is $474.05. You do need to download and install at least version 4.10 of the Talkswitch software to take advantage of the license. This makes for some interesting inexpensive systems, for example, a 244VS model. If you use 4 VOIP phone lines, plug 2 analog phone lines (or 2 VOIP phones lines plus an adapter), and, license the 8 additional IP extensions, this makes a single 244VS capable of 6 phone lines, and, 12 extensions.
