Remote Workers

Power Systems is your authorized Platinum Talkswitch dealer. Many small companies these days are really work at home companies, or perhaps a company with a very small office. If that is your company, a phone system that can integrate those people into the system is a very good thing! We have customers that use Talkswitch in a variety of ways with remote workers. One example is a company, perhaps a landscape company. Obviously, most of the time, workers will be in the field. Instead of giving out multiple numbers to customers, you can have an integrated system where they still call the office number only. From the office, a person could transfer the caller to the remote worker if need be, or, if the caller knew their extension or used dial by name, they could reach them directly. This avoids giving out your cell phone or home phone number, and, also provides a more integrated solution instead of a hodgepodge of phone numbers.

We have customers using this capability with Vonage. Using Vonage, they use the Vonage call transfer feature which allows the call to be disconnected from the office once the call is transferred. This is good for you as this means the customer can continue to talk to the remote worker, and not use any of your incoming phone lines. In a company such as we are discussing here, this can be a tremendous savings as now you might have 4 remote people talking to customers, and, zero incoming phone lines actually busy, saving phone lines and therefoire monthly cost. The same can be done with many phone companies as well, they call this feaure something like transfer and clear.

Talkswitch provides many features for companies with remote workers, there are numerous ways of setting these up, many variations including VOIP. Talk to us about your needs.
